In addition to the tools and materials listed below you will need the following household items :
secateurs or scissors to cut up your twigs
a small amount of oil and a paintbrush for making your moulds (we use olive oil but any culinary oil works well)
double-sided tape, a permanent marker and baking parchment/greaseproof paper for when you dry your ring on the mandrel
optional saran wrap/cling film to reseal any clay you aren’t using
deionised/distilled water to rehydrate dry/cracking clay
For torch firing you’ll need a timer (the one on your smartphone is perfect)
If you are soldering you will also need access to fresh water for quenching
