Jewellery Making Experience Days

Immerse yourself in the jewellers workshop on one of our half or full day jewellery making experiences at the Château de Puyguiller and learn how to create a piece of jewellery from start to finish.

Our experience days are perfect for celebrations such as birthdays, hen days, anniversaries, or simply a fun experience between friends. No experience is required, just turn up and have fun!

Full Day Jewellery Making Experiences

What to Expect

Half Day (morning) | You will start the day at 10h with coffee and an introduction to your course before commencing your morning learning the traditional techniques needed to handcraft your pieces. The morning will conclude at 13h where you will celebrate your efforts with a Cognac cocktail. Your finished handcrafted creations will be beautifully presented in a Cognac Jewellery School jewellery box and gift bag.

Half Day (afternoon) | You will start the afternoon at 14h with coffee and an introduction to your course before commencing your afternoon learning the traditional techniques needed to handcraft your pieces. The afternoon will conclude at 17h where you will celebrate your efforts with a cognac champagne cocktail. Your finished handcrafted creations will be beautifully presented in a Cognac Jewellery School jewellery box and gift bag.

Full Day | You will start the day at 10h with coffee and an introduction to your course before commencing your morning learning the traditional techniques needed to create your pieces. We will break at 12h30/13h for a light lunch before continuing your afternoon of handcrafting your very own piece of Cognac Jewellery School Jewellery. We will conclude around 16:30h , where you will celebrate your efforts with with a Cognac cocktail. Your finished handcrafted creations will be beautifully presented in a Cognac Jewellery School jewellery box and gift bag.

FAQs

  • We can take bookings for 2-6 people

  • Of course! We try to book individual students together where we can so let us know when you would like to come and we will do our best to accommodate.

  • As we use blowtorches and chemicals we’re unable to accommodate anyone under the age of 15 years old. 15-17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Once you have sent us your booking form we will get back to you with all the information you need to book. Payments must be made in advance and we will send you an online payment link once we have confirmed your booking.

    We are unable to take payment in cash or cheque.

  • It’s possible to have two different workshops running at the same time.

    If your group can’t decide between three or more different workshops let me know and we will do our best to accommodate.

    Please note that silver clay workshops can’t be combined with other types of workshop.

  • Absolutely! You can combine two half day workshops to make up a full day.

  • Unfortunately it is not possible to do your own projects in a group workshop setting

  • The Cognac Jewellery School is open all year round
