Siligum Moulding Compound
This two-part moulding compound will enable you to create moulds that you can use with Silver Clay to create a diverse range of reusable designs.

The Bare Essentials
As with any creative endeavour there are so many different tools to choose from that it’s difficult to know where to begin! So I have put together a list of 8 tools that will enable you to get started with creating, firing and finishing your silver clay pieces without having to invest in a lot of expensive equipment.
Playing Cards
It might seem like an odd choice but playing cards are the perfect tool for using with Silver Clay. You can use them as spacers for rolling out your clay as well as for transporting wet pieces, as a surface to work on, and their lacquered surface makes it easy to clean off excess clay
Acrylic Kit
This kit includes everything you need to shape and sculpt your clay from rolling out, to flattening, a texturing tool and a scribe that you can use to create holes for jump rings
A Craft Knife
Simply used for cutting the clay when wet, a craft knife is essential for achieving a clean finish around shapes, especially when using the clay in tandem with the moulding compound.
A Blowtorch
This refillable butane blowtorch is such a great all-rounder. lightweight and easy to use, this torch is perfect for firing silver clay as well as precision soldering tasks.
A Soldering Brick
A soldering brick is an absolute must for firing your Silver Clay pieces. Simply put your silver clay on the heat-reflecting brick during firing to protect your worktop.
A Set of Needle Files
A set of needle files will help you to refine the shape of whatever you create before or after firing.
Sanding Sponges
Use these versatile sanding sponges to remove file marks and refine your Silver Clay creations after firing
Polishing Pads
